Rum Balls

1 box Nilla Wafers
½ cup walnuts, finely chopped
1 can sweetened condensed milk
¼ cup rum
¾ cup sweet powder (e.g., Nestle’s Quik, powdered sugar, brownie mix)

Crush the vanilla wafers to a crumbly powder. Mix in the walnuts, condensed milk, and rum. (Hint: If the mixture is too moist to roll, set aside for a couple of hours to dry out.)

Roll the Nilla Wafer mixture into balls between palms then roll each ball in the sweet powder until coated. Place coated balls on wax paper or other smooth surface. Cover and let sit overnight.
